The Dare County Health and Human Services board will meet on Tuesday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m. at the Dare County Department of Health and Human Services – Social Services Division located at 107 Exeter Street in Manteo.

The meeting will be held in the first floor multi-purpose room.

At this meeting the Dare County Board of Health and Human Services will vote to rescind the rules governing free standing restaurant establishments. The reason for this action is that these establishments were previously regulated by local rules. Such establishments are now regulated by the North Carolina Department of Agriculture. Therefore, the local rule is redundant as regulation is provided by the state agency.
