Boggs arrested on felony charges for Handee Hugo break-in

James Garrett Boggs of Henderson has been arrested for felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods and is under a $60,000 bond, according to information from the Kitty Hawk Police Department.

The charges are related to the break-in that occurred at the Handee Hugo convenience store in Kitty Hawk on June 7. Boggs was apprehended by the Vance County Sheriff’s Office.

“We must also thank our followers for identifying Boggs. It takes a community, to protect a community,” said the KHPD release. “So if you see something then say something. We are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. If you need us, we are here.”
