200th varsity baseball win celebrated

Cape Hatteras Secondary’s baseball team surrounds Coach Keith Durham and celebrate his 200th varsity baseball win.

The team delivered the milestone win in a 9-1 victory over Mattamuskeet on May 3. The win also pushed Cape Hatteras into second place in the Atlantic 5 Conference and an automatic bid in state tournament.

The team’s first state playoff game was scheduled for Tuesday, May 7 in Buxton against East Wake Academy.
