Cathy Louise Cliburn

Cathy Louise Cliburn died in her Poplar Branch home, April 26, 2019. Cathy was 60 years of age. She was born February 24, 1959 in Norfolk, Va. and lived for many years in San Diego, Calif. before settling down in the Outer Banks area. Cathy was the daughter of Mary Christine Skinner and the late Willie Glenn Skinner and the sister of the late Willie Skinner and the late Michael Skinner.

Her survivors include her mother, Mary Christine Skinner; sister Donna Myers; brother Charles Skinner; life-long love Jimmie Mills; daughters, Suszanne Lee (Wayne), Christie Gillard (Allen) and Melissa Martinez (Steve); son Charles Mills Cliburn; nine grandchildren and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Cathy’s funeral service will be held at Gallop Memorial Chapel in Barco May 3 at 2 p.m. Friends and family may view one hour prior. Interment will be private at a future time.
