Fourteen schools will be represented in the Down East All Star Game to be held in the Columbia High School Gym on May 18, coach Mike Cole announces.

“We will have college coaches and scouts here,” Cole said. “We’re just trying to help local high school seniors and those in surrounding counties with a chance to be seen and get higher education with a chance to continue to play ball.”

Gates will open at 12 noon on May 18. Admission for ages 13 and under is $1 and $4 for those above 13. A concession stand will be open. The gym is at 902 Main Street in Columbia.

There will be a three-point shooting contest and a dunk contest.
