Around 2014, a North Carolina Cheese Trail was started. Initially, the trail had 11 cheese artisans.

Now the trail, featured on Got To Be NC, has 29 “cheese” entries.

JoCo Beer, Wine, Shine Trail – In 2009, four award-winning wineries and tasting rooms joined together to form the Muscadine Heritage Wine Trail. And in 2015, the Trail it expanded and has been renamed the JoCo Beer, Wine, and Shine Trail to include our new breweries and distilleries in Johnston County. Experience the trail along their rural roads past tobacco, cotton, and corn fields or stop at a local farmer’s market and take home fresh locally grown produce.

Swan Creek Vineyards – Seven vineyards only five miles apart! A wonderful way to explore the wines of Swan Creek in the Yadkin Valley.

Uwharrie Mountains Wine Trail – True official, full operating, award winning wineries in the heart of the Uwharrie Mountain Range, just 30 minutes Northeast from Charlotte and 50 minutes southeast of Grensboro.
