Christian Gabriel Moore was taken into custody this morning without incident by the Dare and Currituck County Sheriff’s Offices. DCSO reports he is being held at the Dare County Detention Center under a $250,000 bond.

On March 7, DCSO sought the public’s help in locating Moore, 25, who was wanted for second degree forcible rape.

The DCSO release further stated that Sheriff Doug Doughtie expressed thanks to the community for their assistance.
