Robert Wesley “Wes” Nock

Robert Wesley “Wes” Nock passed December 31, 2018 at his home in Grandy, North Carolina. He was the son of the late Elbridge and Louise Hardy Nock, and the husband of wife, Sandra “Sue” Thomson Nock. Wes married his high school sweetheart in 1953 and they had four daughters. He was a life long entrepreneur and the proud owner of the Warehouse Towel Outlet in Kill Devil Hills for fifteen years. An avid painter, devoted father and a member of the Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church, Wes’ life was full of love and he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife, Sue, he is survived by his daughters, Belinda Foster and husband Thomas, Pamela Wesserling and husband Daniel, Diana Nock and Teresa Brickhouse and husband Gilbert Jr.; grandchildren, Melissa Wesserling, Sarah Wesserling, Edward Cox, Justin Bustamante, Noah Brickhouse and Sophie Brickhouse; great-grandchildren, Lillian Brown and Myles Gardner; and his beloved dog, Sandy. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Richard Nock.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 5 at Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church with the Rev. Colin Snyder officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Interfaith Community Outreach, 115 Mustian Street, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948 and the OBX SPCA, 1030 Driftwood Drive, Manteo, NC 27954.
