A 14-year-old boy was flown by helicopter to Norfolk this afternoon after two jet skis collided in Currituck Sound in Duck.

Traffic was stopped in both directions on Duck as the helicopter landed at the Duck Fire Department.

The NC Wildlife Resources Commission is investigating the accident. The boy’s condition was unknown this afternoon.
