Members of the six-state Southeast Chapter of Mystery Writers of America gathered for a retreat this week, and will be at a reception in their honor tonight at the old courthouse gallery in Manteo. 

The Dare County Arts Council is hosting the even from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The public is invited.
