KILL DEVIL HILLS, NC – Jona Ra Williamson died March 24, in Kill Devil Hills. She was born on September 4, 1940 in Marion, WV to the late Ira and Evelyn Pyles.

Jona Ra lived most of her life in Richmond, VA. She loved the beach and she and husband Ray Williamson re-tired to the Outer Banks.

Jona Ra is preceded in death by her husband Ray William-son, who passed last year while both resided in Spring Arbor for the last 4 years. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Pyles of WV.

Jona Ra is survived by her daughter, Kristine Shanko (Charles) of Charleston, SC; son, Randy Williamson (Vickie) of Kill Devil Hills; 4 grandchildren, Berkley Shanko, Alexandria Shanko, Charleston Shanko, and Mat-thew Williamson; and great-grandson, Carter Woody.

She is also survived by her sister, Diane Flowers (Roger) and their two children, Meredith and Kelly of Clarksburg, WV; and brother, Kevin Pyles of Charlottes-ville, VA and his two children, Melissa and Christopher.
